In the valley. In a place where I can look up a see my shadow and my light on either side of me. These windows to the soul are so open now. I see the bad habits, the innate natural silver linings, the fear responses, and the pure joy coming off of me like steam from a warm head on a cold morning. Observing my progress with more gentle whimsy and less fury these days. Accountability feels good. Patience feels good. Calm within oneself when one can create it feels good. When you know the destination, the distance doesn’t intimidate you. If you’re in the valley, you can see the mountains. You can see the top. You know where to go.
